The Ring Bearer Has Pinkeye

Could we please just get rid of this germ?  Thank you.

Bennett woke up this morning looking much like Luke did just 10 short days ago (I know that exactly because he just finished his prescription for pinkeye and an ear infection.  Today.).  Crusty eye, slightly pink, so I immediately phoned in a request for some drops for him.  It’s gotten worse all day, unfortunately, but he has been downright hilarious in taking care of it.  He made me make up a little bed for him on Nana Jo’s couch, just like I did here when Luke was sick with a fever 2 weekends ago.  He’s pretty much reenacting Luke’s illness and different things he did (like leave the dinner table not feeling well, though Bennett felt fine otherwise).  He’s used literally 100 Kleenex today, wiping his eyes and nose, and then goes and washes his hands.  He’s even hypothesized that he probably got ”a pink eye” from eating breakfast next to Luke. 

His antics are making all of this seem kinda funny.  While I’d really like this pinkeye to clear up, I’m more concerned that this might turn into an ear infection for him, too.   And I don’t want to have to do urgent care for him here if we can avoid it.  Did I mention that the hospital here is out of network?
