I’m sure this subject has plagued many of you out there (especially my handful of male readers)…what can I store snacks in that won’t get them crushed, but won’t take up too much room, in the diaper bag?
Solution: it’s probably something you have in your fridge right now. Next time you finish a canister of Kraft parmesan cheese, wash it out. It’s perfect for Cheerios or other small snacks that will make your baby stay quiet while at the doctor’s office. (As with most of my good ideas, I heard this from a friend, I didn’t make it up.)

Great Tip! I have used those before and also used the plastic containers that Gerber uses now for their baby food!
Thanks for sharing!
Oh, my link to you shows in your comments. Nice. Anyway I was going to tell you to check out my blog. Apparently we should start a list of uses for Parmesan containers.

We used a travel formula container – it had four sections, so we could store Cheerios, Goldfish, dried fruit, and banana puffs. It worked really well for us!

LOVE this idea! thanks for sharing!
I don’t think our Sam’s sized parmesan Cheese container is really designed for this, but it does sound like a great idea!
ahhhh, thanks for the tip. I’ll try this when we empty out our next container. (found you from twolinesonastick blog)
