A couple of gems from the past week or so:
•”Mom? Is it fivesday?” (It took me a minute, and then I realized that he was thinking of Tuesday!)
•When Matt was playing Wii Shuffleboard with the two boys, he was Bennett’s partner. Luke was beating them pretty soundly, so Matt said, “We’ve got some work to do, Bennett!” A couple of minutes later, when it was his turn, he said (to no one in particular), “We’ve got some job to do!”
•Bennett and I were having a discussion about Jesus and it went like this:
Me: And do you know what Jesus did for us?
Bennett: He died on the cross!
Me: That’s right! And he died on the cross for us so that we can someday go…
Bennett: On vacation!

These are just priceless – and are perfect examples of why your blogs are so cool: you will always have a record of these little conversational gems! So often when my kids were little, I’d think I should write down cute things they said, but most of the time, that didn’t happen!
“. . . so we can go on vacation” – now that is a hoot!
So cute. I laughed hardest at the Jesus conversation!
HYSTERICAL! Yes, Jesus did die on the cross for that too…wink, wink.
