I’m Nicole. 30-something wife of 40-something Matt (a banker), stay-at-home mom to Luke (13), Bennett (11) and Jack Henry (8). I feel like I just became a mom and should still be home with babies, but alas, I’m suddenly that mom with school-aged kids and days that just opened wide.
I’m a graduate of the University of Illinois, with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies, with an emphasis on Early Childhood (kind of an education/psychology mix). The years I’ve been able to stay home with my boys has been amazing and challenging and fun and mundane, as every stay-at-home mom understands. Our life and parenting is definitely imperfect, and in the spirit of full disclosure, I write about all of it: the good, the bad, the embarrassing, the funny.
We spend countless hours at the ballpark, watching all 3 boys play baseball. While it makes life crazy and hectic, we love it and wouldn’t have it any other way.
Welcome to this glimpse of daily life in our testosterone-saturated house…
